Updating the blog. |
The party on Saturday night had a funny ending.. It started raining at midnight, and I am telling you that it was absolutely pouring! The saddest thing is that it has been the only time it has rained here, so we really feel bad for the organizers (apparently it was an expensive party). Oh well, the party turned into a wet t-shirt competetion with a thousand participants. And people really just embraced the water as there was nothing anybody could do about it. :)
We will stay here in Chang until Wednesday but then we will go back to Bangkok. It has been really nice and chill here, but it will be nice to have more things to see and do in the city. We are staying at the Baiyoke-hotel for the first two nights and we are really looking forward to it because Baiyoke-tower is the tallest building in Thailand. See pictures of the hotel
here. And from Friday until Saturday we are staying at the
Check Inn Chinatown, which is located in Chinatown (surprise surprise). We found great deals for both of the hotels! Our room in Baiyoke will cost us 60€/a night which is nothing compared to Finland! Check Inn Chinatown was 18€/a night (including breakfast). We used
www.agoda.com when booking the hotels (thanks to Tiina & Vili)
So, we are staying in Bangkok from Wednesday until Sunday. If the weather on the Southern islands has changed by then, we probably will head to Koh Phangan on Sunday. But if the weather continues bad over there we will be heading to the North, maybe to Chiang Mai.
It has been really nice to read your comments! Thanks everyone! :)
The photos are great! I'm especially jealous of the hammock :-) -Julie

Huomenissa varmaan.
